Title: proxy with web server on green Post by: sarconastic on Sunday 01 March 2009, 08:38:12 am I have Endian 2.1.1 on a machine that is the firewall for my small network. I have a centos 5 server that is basically only a file server and webserver. I setup the proxy server on the endian so i could control my kids access to the web. But when i activate the proxy it blocks external access to my webserver. How can i set this up to work? I know I should have the Server on a another zone but I don't have that option right now.
If I can't dolt successfully from endian i may have to use a proxy on the Centos server, but i like the simplicity of the Advance proxy on the endian. Thanks for the help Sarc Title: Re: proxy with web server on green Post by: npeterson on Saturday 04 April 2009, 03:47:38 am You need to set a port forward on the firewall configuration page.
Protocol: TCP Incoming IP: ANY Port on incoming: 80 Desination: The Internal IP of your webserver Destination port: 80 Enabled Checked. You may wish to log the connections too, thats up to you. |
