Dear,

Scenario: Endian 2.5.2

I have download problems using the squid proxy.
Here the firewall and proxy are on separate machines. Any user browsing via proxy, could not do downloads usually above 100 MB.
Sometimes Chrome informs error downloading (network error). Other times the download is completed partially.

Comments:
- The error does not happen when sailing off the proxy;
- We tested in 3 browsers (Chrome, Mozilla and Opera);
- We tested the download on different websites.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Hello

You said:
"Here the firewall and proxy are on separate machines."
" The error does not happen when sailing off the proxy"

I understand that you have the following situations:

1. Internet  <--  ENDIAN Firewall  <--  Proxy  <--  LAN: issues
2. Internet  <--  ENDIAN Firewall  <--  LAN: no issues

Please check you Proxy machine.

Dear Gabriel,
No doubt the problem is in the proxy.
I've been watching the Download starts at a reasonable speed but then decreases until at 0 bits.
I watched a download with the proxy, the speed is only 150 KB/s. Proxy off speed reaches 2 MB/s.
The difference is very large. And is not enabled bandwidth control or Delay Pools.

Yes, both machines are Endian Community.
Firewall = Endian version 3.0.5
Proxy = Endian version 2.5.2

OK!

First, try to clear cache on proxy.
Second, why don't you upgrade both to 3.0.9?

Already cleared the cache squid but not resolved.
I use version 2.5.2, because when I tested the proxy version 3.0.5, it used 100% of the CPU.
