Title: Urgent configuration to hit external proxy across networks Post by: gumbicus on Tuesday 28 January 2014, 03:29:20 pm Hello everybody,
Classes are starting next week so any help asap would be greatly appreciated. I am working at an educational institution and have been asked to strip down an extremely complex network system and bring it back to basics for the student development labs. A requirement is that these labs are internal and don't affect the non-development student labs. The problem is, the campus is a joint campus between 3 educational institutions. And i need to hit the proxy provided by my institution, but i have to go through another to do it. So lets say the Proxy IP is 120.26.88.20:8000 I have been informed this is the only way through for internet access, and the proxy server is legally required because we educate underage students. Here is the network setup: #### Proxy Server 120.26.88.20:8000 #### ^ #### External network gateway, no DHCP: 10.56.50.1 known as the *50 net* #### ^ #### External network switch ???IP ADDRESS??? - known as the *52 net* netmask ???.???.???.252 #### ^ #### EFW Red network address 10.56.52.13 #### ^ #### Internal network switch 192.168.51.240 #### ^ #### EFW Green network address, as gateway and DHCP server for network - 192.168.51.241 #### ^ #### Green network workstation 192.168.51.x #### |
