Title: System Log, Green interface drops random! Post by: xsidx on Thursday 04 November 2010, 06:20:43 pm My green interface drops at random, sometimes several times a day, some times just once or twice. I copied the system log and pasted it below. Am not too familiar with reading these logs, if you are I appreciate if you can let me know what is wrong with it.

I can connect to Endian from any other interface, the only interface it drops is the Green Interface. I can remote into it through both red interfaces it has. That is how am able to reset it Endian remotely everytime I get a call becuase they have no internet access. (Gets annoying when I gotta do this several times a day) Title: Re: System Log, Green interface drops random! Post by: mcmoore on Friday 05 November 2010, 08:29:56 pm Have you updated recently? I notice in the bug tracker that this was an issue for 2.3 to 2.4 updates bugs.endian.it/view.php?id=2943
The 'segfault' basically means that service is crashing (not happy) - Perhaps there is more information to be found in bugs.endian.it However, as 2.4.1 has just been released, perhaps you could try an efw-update? Post by: xsidx on Saturday 06 November 2010, 08:40:09 am Thanks for your reply, I know my networking and been helping some guys here on forums, but my linux isn't that great. 8)
I'll try update.. |
