Lets say I plug a computer into the lan and then windows will ask me for a username and password before I can access the network at all or can this be done on the wifi network? Thank you Eric. But it should be configured on your switch. EFW is a firewall, a solution that secures you from the threats of the outer world.
Title: Re: Network Authentication Post by: ekelley on Sunday 03 February 2013, 01:44:55 pm Thank you for the reply actually with my cisco router with the LAN we can setup Network authentication so if you plug a computer into the lan it will ask for a username and password to access the network. If we dont type in a userid and password we cannot access any systems on the network at all not just websites. I would like to setup this feature if possible.
