Is there any plan to launch sometime, anytime, another version besides v2.4.1 or Endian is now a dead project?
Only community version is frozen or entire project is dead? No news, no updates and only a useless and empty forum.
And a frozen roadmap / repository...
If so, I'm sad to hear that.

best regards with thanks for your effort

kikilinux asked: don't u think the community sites should be more active ?

That depends on you, doesn't it?

For those who are unfamiliar with Endian, especially those who have voiced their uninformed concerns here, Endian is an open-source firewall product with both free and paid options. The primary location for information about Endian is at the primary developer's web site, endian.com. There you can find the latest version (version 3.0 beta 2, for those who like living on the bleeding edge, or version 2.5.2, the latest stable version). You can also find paid and free support options.

The free support is, of course, offered in EFW-related forums, of which this is one.

The impatience demonstrated by some responders in this thread is because it appears that inadequate research was done before asking a question. For instance, anyone who searched Google for "endian firewall" would have learned all of this within minutes without the need for someone else to do their homework for them.

Dear EveningStarNM
If i can answer a question i will answer that.
A lot of people ask question but no answer can be saw.
doesn't exist any professional people to answer the questions.
don't u think some professional people of endian firewall should be little active here ?
the first location to find my answer should be here not google search engine or another search engines.
it's very interesting  statement "do their homework for them" !!!! learning about Endian Firewall buges and functionality is a homework ?!!!!
I liked and i chose endian firewall, I just say the community should be more active.

You'll be surprised at what you can find in a Google search, or with some other search utility (I like DuckDuckGo, myself). For instance, your questions have probably already been asked and answered by others.

I have to agree with EveningstarNM most info can be found by google search but it might have been better to be compiled in one place perhaps.  I got most of my configuration (Windows AD) from here the only thing I have never gotten to work is radius authentication.  A lot of stuff was 50% research and 50% experimentation.
