Intel 82574L issues

Hello All: I am new to Endian and I really like the VLAN Tunnelling feature. I current have it running on a small EPC Fanless as a test between 2 location and work great.
I was asked to use it on a more "server type hardware".. I picked up a Tyan B7002G20V4H 1U server that has 2 INTEL 82574L onboard that I cannot get pass the install. At the end of the install, it says it failed to bring up Green Interface.
Has anyone had trouble with this chipset?
any suggestion on what Intel Quad-Port to use from the below?
Intel EXPI9404PTL 10/ 100/ 1000Mbps PCI-Express PT Quad Port Low Profile Server Adapter
Intel EXPI9404PTBLK 10/ 100/ 1000Mbps PCI-Express PT Quad Port Server Adapter
Intel EXPI9404PT 10/ 100/ 1000Mbps PCI-Express PRO/1000 PT Quad Port Server Adapter
Thanks in advance,
K
