Hi,

We have got two ADSL connection with the same ISP (so we can load balance by round robin routing).

The two NIC cards are connected to the two modems and the settings for the RED interfaces would be exactly the same (gateway, dns...) excluding obviously the static IP address.

The problem is that EFW 2.3 does not let us add the second RED giving us the following error:
The networks of this uplink are not distinct with 'uplink1' networks.

I found in the forum someone hacking around with files in /var/efw/uplinks, copying them manually, but I would like to avoid to change configuration files manually if possible.

Any suggestion?

Thanks!

Hi,

I would also be interested in this functionality.

I use Endian as a gateway (web proxy and content filter) with 1 NIC, but would like the ability to specify multiple gateways (load balance / failover). If need be I can change my configuration to add NICs and have DSL modems (in bridge mode) connected directly to Endian box. Ideally I would prefer to use one account, as my accounts are capped, so it can become a challenge to manage caps on different accounts.

Thanks.
