Hi everyone,
I want know how I can make automatically start the vmware-tools.
Let me explain: I have to manage virtual machines and installing VMware tools it was easy. The problem is these tools must be started automatically when I turn on my machine.
In previous versions I had only to put a command line in the script rc.ipac but in version 3.0.5 I don't find it.
Can you give me advice on how to start the service automatically /etc/init.d/vmware-tools?

Thank you very much for helping.

Hi

For debian 8.2 and before make a snapshot (Very Important)

on console type this command
find -name vmware-config-tools.pl

run this command

./usr/bin/vmware-config-tools.pl

Script is running and on this question answer YES

Would you like to enable VMware automatic kernel modules?
[no] -> YES

Restart your VM.

Find with ps -A

vmtoolsd services must be started
