I am trying to install/compile a new driver for one of my network cards.  But of course i can't "make" since there is not a compiler!

Any advice?

Hi

You could try downloading the rpms/srpms from
//sourceforge.net/projects/efw/files/Development/EFW-2.4-RESPIN/EFW-COMMUNITY-2.4-devel-srpms.tar.gz/download

And then installing the relevant rpms to get ff, make etc

You may want to check out my thread titled "Help Installing VMtools on EFW 2.4" (for some reason I'm not allowed to post links.  As a part of installing VMTools you have to get the compiler on Endian 2.4.  My last post has a shell script that shows what packages you need and what order to install them from the download DFen gave you.  The compiling seems to work but you may want to watch the thread to see if anyone finds a mistake I made.
