Hi

I'm new to the forums so bare with me, my question is if i can install Endian Firewall on the following system:

- On board Intel® Atom™ D510 Dual Core/D410 Single Core 1.66GHz
Processor
- Intel® ICH8M Chipset
- 1 x 240-pin DDR2 667/800 DIMM Socket, up to 2GB Non-ECC
SDRAM
- LAN Chip: Intel® 82583V Support 10/100/1000 link speed
- 500GB SATA HDD

Since the LAN Chipset is kinda new, I'm not sure if Endian could work on this chipset, i want to know if it works before I  it so i don't spend money on something that is not going to work for me and Endian

Hopefully you guys could help me on this

Best Regards

Apparently you need to compile the igb kernel module for this to work using the source from Intel's website but as I'm finding that's almost impossible on EFW 2.4.1. I've got a thread going here - efwsupport.com/index.php?topic=2677.0 - if you find any additional info to solve yours or my problem I'd be interested in reading about it.
