Title: How to clear Http Proxy Log
Post by: irvinehooi on Wednesday 09 February 2011, 04:49:26 pm
Hi, I am a new user to Endian Firewall Community Edition.
I was wondering if someone could guide me a step-by-step on how to clear all the logs in the log viewer, firewall, proxy and ............etc.

I'm more worries about HTTP Proxy Log, will it fills up my hard disk space until FULL or not ?? Because I have more and more logs from day to day operation.   :'(   :'(
Is Endian Firewall will rotate the log usage for HTTP Proxy Log whenever the hard disk space is going to FULL ??

Thanks in advance.

AS far as I can see, all logs are stored in a separate partition.  If it gets full, logging may stop, but the Endian Firewall will not.
Log rotation settings can be found under  Logs (Grey bar across the top) -> Settings.  Here you can set the length of Summaries to keep, and if you are still worried, then it allows you to send the logs to a remote syslog server too.
