Hello,

I'm new here.

And man, has this been a bumpy start with my first Endian Firewall: After having to compile new NIC kernel modules (those dreaded Realtek 8111/8168!) with a toolchain from an older release of the efw and discovering quite a bit of bugs and inconsistencies ... I find myself unable to register to this forum with the first 4 e-mail addresses I was throwing at it.

But now I'm here ;)

I will post some technical questions later - but I'll ask one of the most import ones right now:

Does anyone have experience with the commercial support by endian? How competent and how fast are they? Did they resolve your issues? (I'm running the community edition to get a feeling for the software but plan on buying the software to consolidate our routing infrastructure from three different vendors.)

I hope that this question isn't totally off topic. Reading in this forum (and the "other" one) I get the impression that at least the users of the community edition are left out in the cold a bit.

Thanks in advance!

MM
