Title: [EFW 2.4 Community] Ipac-ng v1.33 RPM
Post by: mrkroket on Tuesday 20 July 2010, 08:42:20 am
These are the updated Ipac-ng v1.33 rpm's for Endian 2.4. To be used with Iptables v.1.4.2

Warning
I never used rpmbuild before, and I never made an rpm, I expect nothing is wrong.
It'd be better to wait for an official release, but I can't wait months to solve some bugs!!! (fetchipac for example)
Use at your own risk. I'm not responsible of any use of these rpms (either good or bad).
I used the very same version that appears on Sources. I just fix the spec file that have some debug break at the middle.
If you want to see the sources, download the source rpm.

Binaries

ipac-ng-1.33-2.endian4.i386.rpm http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KNYQBKK1 (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KNYQBKK1) (If you are not sure what to download, just take this)
ipac-ng-extras-1.33-2.endian4.i386.rpm  http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UMZ8TSV7 (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UMZ8TSV7)

Source
ipac-ng-1.33-2.endian4.src.rpm http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IUTME0H2 (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IUTME0H2)

Installation of binaries:
Copy the rpm on your Endian Firewall, use WinSCP or something similar.
On Endian Console, use the command:
rpm -Uvh ipac-ng-1.33-2.endian4.i386.rpm
Should say 100%

Fix the tables:
Check that the new version is installed. On Console use the command: fetchipac -S
Should say:Trying to load extension standard.Run 1: next = standard.
Also run: fetchipac
Check that ipacsum is working, run the command: ipacsum
Should say:IP accounting summary and a traffic resume table below
Reboot the firewall.
Recreate the traffic graphs: makegraphs.pl

I just downloaded it correctly, so it works. Although extras are not really needed.
 Temporary should mean.... temporary.
