Problem with cisco catalyst 3550

Hello everyone, nice to meet you.
I have a problem with endian firewall, I have a network set up with a Cisco Catalyst 2950 and 3550 primary.
In 3550 I have VLANs configured with DHCP. But when I connect Endian Firewall and set it up as default route ip in the configuration of 3550, the firewall does not reply, but if not ip default route if it responds.
I do not understand, because I have no special settings, and in place I have another firewall if it works, with the same configuration as the endian firewall.
Someone could tell me what happens?
thanks
