Installation of VMWare Tools 4 on Endian 2.4.1

I tried to install VMWare Tools 4 on Endian 2.4.1.
I only found a topic belonging to an older kernel version.
So I tried to install Packages manually, but I can't get gcc, so vmware-config-tools.pl cannot finish.
Does anyone got VMWare tools 4.0 running on efw 2.4.1 or has any ideas?
Thanks for any answers.

Hi there,
i'm doing the same right now...
I started downloading the source packages
sourceforge.net/projects/efw/files/Development/EFW-2.4.1/EFW-COMMUNITY-2.4.1-devel-srpm-rpms.tar.gz/download
i think it should include also gcc but i have to wait until it finished.

To workaround continue without installing the modules. Just answer with no when running vmware-config.pl
The Guest Features like shutdown and information will be available without the modules.
Hope this helps
