Title: ftp out to red zone
Post by: stone on Monday 31 May 2010, 08:18:26 am
since upgrading my firewall box to 2.4
i can no longer ftp from inside my green zone to my server out on red zone. i can connect, but i cannot get a directory listing.
tried running both passive and active modes.

i confirmed this is only occurring inside my firewalled network. i can access the ftp just fine from outside my network.

Is the outbound firewall enabled or disabled.
If enabled, try disabling it and see if the FTP connection works succesfully.

Are you running IDS? Maybe it's seeing something it doesn't like...
