upgrade to 3.0 libbz2.so.1 fail

While upgrading from 2.2 to 3.0. The system upgraded the ugraded to 2.7 whatever on the installer and the install runs but fails wtht eh following.

ERROR: Error during installing efw-communit

How can I install this on the machine there is no Yum, not apt-get. Seems like a basic dependency that should be picked up by the installer.
