Static route on 3.2.2

Hi ,,
I am new in Endian
I am faced problem with adding static route
i try with GUI to add
10.155.0.0/16 gw 10.155.10.254
but when using ip route nothing change
i tried to follow some old version guide to add static to rc.local like

endian.mcabig.net/tips.html

also nothing change on ip route
so please help .
