I have hardware that seems to run 2.4.x just fine.  It occasionally seems to have an issue with the on-board nic, but nothing a quick down/up doesn't solve.

When i install 2.5.x, however, it runs great for a day or two, and then just stops.  I thought maybe it was the load, so i switched over to my backup router (WRT54G running DD-WRT), but the WRT has been running for 2 weeks now and the Endian box is still locking up every APPROXIMATELY 2 of days just running on the desk with no throughput, no DHCP server, responsible for nothing but webgui serving.

Here's what the logs look like.  It's not terribly helpful.  It just stops, I turn it off, turn it back on, and it's working fine again...for a APPROXIMATELY 2 of days.  Just trying to get a wan ip (sitting on my desk just hooked to the lan) and then *ONOMATOPOEIA!*  nada until i forcibly restart it.

Running on a Jetway Atom board with a 945 chipset (can't seem to find the model number...think it might be under the heatsink...) with a 2GB Emphase IDE SSD and 1GB of ram.  Using on-board 10/100 NIC with add-on single port 10/100 daughter board.

EDIT: well lmao.  apparently the bad word filter is set for British English or something, because some of the words were edited out of my post that were harmless when taken any other way.  "c0uple" can't be used?  seriously?  I shall replace it with APPROXIMATELY 2.  Hopefully that's less naughty of me...

Might be any hardware component is doing problems (check the output of dmesg). Also see this...

Hi,
we have the same issue on a very similar hardware: eg. Jetway board and SSD.
I reported on it (in German) in: efw-forum.de/www/forum/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=1411
The hardware worked well in  2.3, but the feature to allow only fixed leases does not work in that release.
After upgrading to 2.5.1 and checking the box "Allow only fixed leases" we see stops as you described them.
Yesterday I unchecked that box and since then, after a reboot, the device works without any problem - still.
Did you use that feature or how did you resolve your problem?
