Title: SMTP Proxy - White List Sender
Post by: nwi on Tuesday 24 January 2012, 01:21:37 am
I'm running EFW Community 2.5 and have been experiencing some trouble with the real time block lists on the SMTP Proxy. I have added a number of White List Senders, who continue to be blocked by some of the RBLs. For the time being I've had to disable some of these RBLs, but I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to change what take precedence, the RBL's or white lists.

Is there a config file that controls this, where I can move the white lists priority to be above the RBL's? Isn't that how it should be by default? Has anyone else encountered this, and is there something I'm over looking?

Thank you.

I have the same issue with version 2.5.1.  Ran 'efw-upgrade' but there is No interesting upgrades available, have yet to try 'efw-upgrade -s' though.

I also wonder is entry on 'Whitelist Sender' & 'Spam Whitelist Sender' always bypass RBLs. What about 'Blacklist Sender' & 'Spam Blacklist Sender', are they being inspected first or after RBLs and then spam filter?
Hope there  is a SMTP proxy flowchat out there somewhere :)

Sincerely,
