Hi all,

Please let me know how to use Endian only for content filtering. I have a proxy server and users connecting to the Internet through that proxy server. But the content filtering option is not available with my proxy.

Treferore I thought of using Endian for the content filtering.

Please let me know how to use Endian in this case.

Thank you

The only way I can think of is to setup your other proxy server to use the EFW as its gateway. Then configure the EFW for transparent proxy.

Quite honestly this doesn't make a lot of sense when EFW does proxy. You are doing a redundant task. I could imagine you'll run into a problem at some point linking one proxy into another. Just think if you get a corrupt file cached. Besides that, I think it could cause your internet speed to actually slow down since both servers are going to try to keep their cache refreshed. I can see the EFW just going beserk trying to keep up.

Can you explain why you want to do this? Maybe we can help you find a better solution.

Another option may be to us the upstream proxy setting. I need to research it more.
