Endian team:
Any hope that efw-update might soon work to update from 2.5.0 to 2.5.1, or will we have to reinstall from the new ISO???
Thanks!

Technical correction: I wrote efw-update, but I meant the "efw-upgrade" command.
When I run "efw-upgrade", it reports: "No interesting upgrades available." Perhaps 2.5.1 isn't interesting
Any feedback from the Endian Team?

You can find information about upgrading to 2.5.1 here:
http://.endian.com/
It is not yet available for all machines but we are working on that right now.
Cheers

Thanks Christian, but I can't find anything about upgrading from 2.5.0 to 2.5.0 anywhere on endian.com. Is there a specific link you had in mind?

I have updated from 2.5.0 to 2.5.1 using efw-upgrade
I am on the Development channel (2) though not Production (1) so if the packages are not on the Production channel you will have to run 'efw-upgrade -s' to change channels.
I have not had any issues since updating to 2.5.1 in fact it has fixed a few bugs I have reported.
Hope this helps.

Switching efw-upgrade to the development channel worked for me.
I do find it curious that they didn't switch the packages to the stable channel when they released 2.5.1. But then again, the ways of the Endian Team are mysterious....
Thanks!

I am not sure when the Endian team decide the packages are for Production, I was wary of using the Development channel for my production firewalls but this appears to be the only way.
I have since rebuilt one of my firewalls using the 2.5.1 ISO to see if there is any difference, I can't see any but I have not checked all package versions !
Glad I could help.

Three months passed, and still efw-upgrade indicating there is nothing interesting on the production channel.
Perhaps this question has been forgotten, so I remind it.
