Title: Web GUI login problems Post by: Popupgbg on Wednesday 06 August 2008, 07:35:47 pm I have just installed 2.2 RC2 on one computer and the installation went fine, no problems.
The initial setup done in the web GUI also went fine without any problems, the system reboots and then I tried to log in to the web GUI but cannot log in. I tried the “admin” as username and “my password” as password but I will not get access. The system is connected to a network switch, the same switch as the computer that I tried to log in from is connected to, I can ping the system but is not allowed to log in. I´ve seen that there are users that have had this problem but I have not found any solution to it. My system is set up with one Green (192.168.97.1), one Red (DHCP) and one Orange (192.168.98.1) interface Title: Re: Web GUI login problems Post by: DukeOfAwesome on Wednesday 06 August 2008, 08:31:04 pm Try:
Username: admin Password: endian Title: Re: Web GUI login problems Post by: Popupgbg on Thursday 07 August 2008, 07:30:15 am Your sugestion to use admin and endian was correct but it seems like your not aloud to change the login password in the 2.2 RC2, strange limitation/bug.

Title: Re: Web GUI login problems Post by: eger on Thursday 25 June 2009, 03:58:48 am Having same issue. Installed, set IP, went to GUI first time, ran through setup (including setting my admin and root password). After completed trying to access the admin GUI with my password or 'endian' fails. Have tried rebooting, multiple installs, no dice.
Anyone got this to work? Is this only happening on a handful of installs? Maybe a specific hardware is causing it? Sounds curious, I know.
