Title: Endian FW on Virtual PC Post by: mk.prashanth on Tuesday 30 June 2009, 03:08:59 pm I have installed Endian on a MS virtual PC. The installation went well but I am unable to ping to any system from Endian or to Endian. Let me know how to correct this problem.

I don't necessarily think the virtual pc is the problem but maybe the config of the system. Are the interfaces correct? Have you setup dchp if necessary or opened the port for ping (maybe pinging is blocked). Can you get to the web page?
I haven't ran Endian on Virtual PC but I have run Endian on Virtual Box and that does work like another user had mentioned. I know that Endian is also working at making the appliance run better in virtual environments such as vmware. If possible I would suggest using VirtualBox as well. |
