Good evening,

I'm trying to use a vpn between two endians version 2.4.1, set ipsec settings on both endians. The vpn connects, I can ping any ip on both sides without problems.

But my problem is in DNS resolution, testing via telnet can open any port on the target server, port 53 unless used by DNS.

If I run a ping using the FQDN of the server, the name is resolved to ip correctly. However if only ping the hostname does not resolve.

I have an AD configured on the site, and need to add another AD site B, but the problem with the name resolution will not be able to do. In AD Site B as inform the DNS address of the DNS server running on site A.

By default IPSEC does not block any ports correct? Someone has gone through this problem and managed to get around?

Any idea is welcome.

grateful
