Hi all,

We have Endian Firewall 2.5.4 running on a HP server with 3 NICs - 2 uplinks to 2 different ISPs (RED interfaces) and a network (GREEN interface) with approximately 33 Windows PCs and 3 Linux PCs.

On Tuesday, 15 December 2015, the 3 Linux PCs mysteriously lost internet access via Firefox, and pings / traceroutes were extremely erratic, with very high packet loss in terminal windows.  The Windows PCs had NO issues at all eventhough they all share the same network and firewall gateway.

When the Linux PCs were rebooted, websites (eg. google.com) would open the 1st time, but thereafter would sit on "Loading" and then timeout. Opening additional tabs would also just cause sites to sit on "Loading" and then timeout.

I initially thought it might be a problem with a Firefox update on the Linux PCs, but we pulled a (spare) 4th Linux PCs closer, booted it, and without any updates done, experienced the exact same problems as the other 3 Linux PCs.

Any help, possible ideas, or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
