Hi, I have two NICs a D-Link (Red) and a 3Com (Green)  When I start my firewall I can connect to the Green Firewall GUI.  And when I connect an Ethernet cable from LAN to the firewall.  I cannot connect to the internet through the LAN.  got any idea what could be wrong, I'm using Windows7.

Can you describe your scenario bit more. How is your LAN connected to Endian firewall and what is the gateway on the systems on your lan?

The Green IP is 192.168.0.1 and the default gateway is 255.255.255.0

255.255.255.0 should be the subnetmask and should not be stated under defaultgateway. Under default gateway you should provide the IP address of green interface that is 192.168.0.1

If you can describe bit more how is your network scenario working, we might be able to help you.

Basically I have an ethernet cable running from my cable modem into the RED NIC, and I am trying to connect using an ethernet cable plugged into the side of my laptop.  I had my subnet mask correct I just labeled it as my default gateway.

Ip Address 192.168.0.2
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway 192.168.0.1

that is on my laptop that Im trying to connect to the internet through.

If you are able to access the GUI of your firewall then under network status can you see the IP assigned to your eth (red interface)? This IP must be assigned by your D-Link router.

One of the problems that I see that is when I connect an ethernet cable coming from router to the RED card I can't log-in on the Firewall.  But if I leave it unplugged I can log in just fine.  So I've noticed that everytime I start the firewall it always says the D-Link (RED) Card is no linked.  Do you know why, or what, I could do to be able to hook it up and be able to view the firewall?

What is the ip address of your dlink router? Make sure that your both networks are different just to remove the complexity..

My Router is Motorola.  D-Link and 3Com are the 2 NICS I have in my Firewall.  The problem is with the D-Link NIC, I am getting a connection from the router just fine, it's just when I plug it in it won't do anything or let me access the firewall.

seth23. Your doing some mistake there and if you don't describe your scenario well as fqureshi said than you're at your own. Follow this link if this can help you...

started configuration as Ethernet static
Ip of the EFW is : 192.168.1.1  (Green Zone)
ADSL Router IP is : 192.168.8.1
Gave Red Zone interface IP as : 192.168.8.6
Both DNS resolvers are : 192.168.8.1

gateway IP of a LAN PC is : 192.168.1.1

Where i went wrong. can't connect to internet.

Did you tried with different DNS servers like google dns (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) or opendns (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220)?
