I normally change the screen resolution on the console for all of my linux installs by appending "vga=790" to the end of the "kernel" stanza in /boot/grub/grub.conf, as this makes it much nicer to use the console.

Unfortunately, this does not seem to work with Endian. The system boots, but I have a blank console screen until I remove the vga= option from grub.conf.

Any ideas as to why this is?
