Firewall Logging Dropped packets/Refused connection

Hi,
I am trying to troubleshoot a port forwarding problem as in my port forwarding does not seem to be working.
So is there anyway I can log dropped or blocked packets.
It seems the log only logs packets that go through.
BTW: I am open to any suggestions to make troubleshooting this easier.
