hail,

I just got 3.0 on the usb disk, but I can't boot it Sad

I get this:

Code:
1 Seconds to automatic boot.   Press Ctrl-P for entering Monitor.
GRUB Loading stage2..

and it hangs.

I found this thread http : // lists.soekris.com/pipermail/soekris-tech/2012-November/018707.html, and they say about grub2.
How can I install it ?

I used to run Linux some 10 years ago (Now I am FreeBSD user) and want to give endian a try.

Is there how to change it ? To any bootloader that would work on net6501 from Soekris.

thanks,

I cant' help you, but maybe I can suggest you to try with ipfire or pfsense
I'm thinking to migrate too, Endian Community is not very considered by the developers Sad

hi,

thanks for the message. I kinda did it already. I am a great user of pfSense, and wanted to learn Endian as an option. But my main box for testing is the soekris.
The box now runs OpenBSD 5.5 (studying the new pf syntax) and will not to far be running the new 2.2 pfSense.

This, plus the inability to have two OS'es on same disk (endian cant Sad ), made me change routes.

ipfire I don't know, and will look for it.

thanks again for the tip,
