IPSEC tunnel related

I'm having an issue with the traffic over an IPCES tunnel - periodically it stops to flow through.
I restart the IPSEC tunnel each time and it works fine again. I'm looking now for a workaround - at least - to restart the IPSEC tunnel via a command line (I'll write a script to monitor the traffic and to restart the IPSEC tunnel when it stops functioning). Does such a command line tool for EFW exist ?
Please let me know.
Many thanks.
