Hi all,

I'm new here. Hello!  Smiley

I just installed efw for the first time, set up my pppoe connection and spent a while trying to figure out why I was receiving authentication errors from my ISP.

For me, it turned out that the special chars in my password were causing the problem. I changed it with my ISP to remove them, used the new password in efw and then I could connect successfully.

If you are having auth problems and are sure your details are correct, try this before pulling your hair out. Wink
