Hi

I am experiencing some issues here which I would like some help with if possible?

I have installed the endian firewall software which was all fine and well. However this is done on virtual box and I do have access through the LAN or WAN connection, only through the console.

I am attempting to change eth0 to collect its IP address through DHCP. I cannot see where within the CLI you can change this?

I thought it would be in the usual places that any think of and still cant find it.

Any help on where I can change this?

Thanks in advance

On the main page, click on "NETWORK CONFIGURATION" on the left menu.

If you are doing it from the console, it's in /var/efw/ethernet/settings

I checked within this folder and all I have is a file called 'empty'

there is nothing called settings? do I need to create this file?

I think you need to connect to the web site and run the setup wizard.  This is the proper way.  The ENDIAN box should be connected to your green network when it boots up for the first time.  If not, what's the point of having it?
