Hi everyone.

I do not make use of the HTTP proxy in Endian, but I wish to block some websites. The only way to do this then is to block the website under the Anti-spyware section. However, if I enter the desired URL (eg. facebook.com, twitter.com, etc) and save the settings, I can still open these URLs, even after rebooting the Endian.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and what can I do to solve it?

Hi,

have you also enabled the DNS Proxy by make a tick on "Transparent on GREEN" (or desired zone)?
Endian is the default gateway for the PCs?

I have tried version 3.2.2. and the older 2.5.1 and neither work for blocking websites under DNS filtering. I have enabled the "transparent on green" interface. Has anyone managed to use URL filtering successfully?

Yes, it works for me Smiley The PC where you are trying have Endian as default gateway?
If you do from a Windows machine command line:

nslookup <blocked-domain>

and

nslookup <blocked-domain> <endian-ip>

what is the result?
If it's properly blocked you should see an IP like "75.125.225.163"
