Hello and thanks for any help , I have 2 pc ; PPOE one Internet and one with static ip ; I'm having the following problem with Endian 3.0.5 beta 1, when I set it up with a static ip I have no internet; port forwarding does not work either;
but if I set DHCP everything works perfect.
I tried the same machine with Smoothwall and works perfect with the static IP .
I have always worked with Endian I've never had any problems .
What I can be doing wrong .
Sorry for my bad English 'm using google translator .

Thank you!!!!  Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink

Double check your IP, subnet mask, & gate way to be sure they are 100% correct.  Also because I've had this happen, make sure your internet provider is not doing MAC address filtering and if so give them the Endian external ethernet adapter MAC address.

I had a similar problem to this once and in the end I had to manually edit the red uplink and add in the network DNS IP addresses. Once I'd done that internet access was restored.
