ESX 3.5 - Endian Community 2.4.1 I'm trying to join my domain , realm is TEST.LOCAL short is TEST_BIELLA When I try to save setting in "HTTP proxy: Authentication" I get this message: "TEST_BIELLA" at "Domainname of AD server" is not valid! I've tried to join manually from command line editing "windbind.conf" [global] security = ADS password server = pdc01 realm = test.local # handle logging syslog only = Yes log level = 0 winbind:2 syslog = 1 max log size = 1000 local master = no hosts allow = 172.22.1.70/23 interfaces = br0 bind interfaces only = yes preferred master = no dns proxy = no socket options = TCP_NODELAY SO_RCVBUF=8192 SO_SNDBUF=8192 workgroup = TEST_BIELLA winbind uid = 10000-20000 winbind gid = 10000-20000 winbind use default domain = Yes winbind separator = + unix charset = UTF8 ntlm auth = Yes min protocol = NT1 client NTLMv2 auth = Yes lm announce = No ad join working from command line but not when i try to browse ad users or groups from endian web console From the same endian vm I have joined correctly another windows domain test1.local / TESTBIELLA Some one had same problem?
