Hi Guys,

Clean install of EFW-COMMUNITY-3.0.5-beta1-devel-201504071248 within a vmware environment.

Single NIC, with EFW running in 'No Uplink' mode and looking to run it as a traditional proxy with web filtering.

Once proxy is turned on, connected clients are receiving an Endian Error message "Connection Failed  : (110) Connection timed out"

For any site visited, the Squid log is showing TCP_MISS/503 2603 GET www msn com - HIER_DIRECT / 204 79 197 203 text/html

I can ssh to the endian device, telnet to port 80, so does not appear to be a firewall issue on the endian device.

I can't find anything in the other logs of relevance for further debugging.

I've re-installed to attempt the most basic config that will work, but keep running into this same issue.

Must be something silly I'm missing, this should just work right?

Anyone have any ideas?

Try going to the HTTP proxy and Unclick the following option.

Keep source IP address
(X) Keep original source IP address in not transparent mode
