Block applying proxy rules
«

Hi to all.
I have just tried EFW 2.4.1 for replaced IPCop.
I have issue when I apply new or modify proxy rules: the web page freeze in "Write sarg rules" (my browser is Firefox) and the sistem slows down.
Can someone help me?
Thank a lot in advance.

This is a known issue an a patch has not been released yet.
There are 2 things to do;
1. Disable the "filter for virus" Access Policy
2. Ensure any Contentfilter's do not have the "Activate antivirus scan" option enabled.
After you make any changes from the proxy settings, wait a few seconds then manually return to Endian Firewall main page.
You will still get the wait issue after making the changes above, but the proxy service is started correctly.
