I am having issues with the current 2.4 build of EFW. When I have 2 Red Links active, DNS seems to go crazy.

Issues:
1) Unable to ping site using DNS name (ie ping google.com). This is either from Workstation or EFW.
2) Users on the network get "Page can not be displayed"
3) Both uplinks go from UP status to DEAD status.

Notes:
1) Able to set my GW to a second Cisco router and actively use the Internet (Ping, Traceroute, Browse).
2) Seems to reconnect after the EFW is restarted. Erratic as to when the issues arise.

Links:
Main - Static IP address with Comcast with 5 IP addresses assigned. Using all 5 on the EFW.
Uplink1 - Static IP address with Comcast with 5 IP addresses assigned. Using all 5 also on the EFW.

The 2 Comcast lines have different IP Schemes and Different DNS servers (ie 4 different DNS server available which was recommended in the bug reports for setting up 2 reds with the same provider). The 4 DNS server were assigned by Comcast.

If you have an suggestions, I would greatly appreciate your thoughts.

Additional Information:
Running an Internal DNS Server. All the root DNS servers are implemented correctly.

Update: 10/22/10
I am not doing load balancing. Main Connection is strickly for internet access ONLY. Second connection is for Multiple OpenVPN connections. (2 sites atm, 5-6 more planned along with road warriors.)

Update 2: 10/22/10
Turned off the ProxyServer. Did not solve the DNS issue.

I would set my dns settings both to Main Dns = 208.67.222.222 Alt Dns =  208.67.220.220, I currently have this setting working for me although I am using the opendns for traffic measuring, but just setting the dns server does not need you to register on their site or anything.

I split the load at my site between T1 line and DSL with static routing, both on same dns settings and never had an issue with it.

give it a try and let me know what where your results.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have been trying the solution for the past 3 hours and have not had 1 DNS error. Beginning to roll over the OpenVPN clients to the second internet connection.

I am confused as to why EFW is having the errors though when using separate DNS for each line.

Glad that worked out for you, hopefully it wont drop also, and to answer this question ^^ I believe it might have to do with using 2 reds from same provider as well as dns. Might be some issue's internally with their dns servers. I how ever have used opendns on main red, and a providers dns on secondary red, this also never gave me a problem. But different providers...

It has been working correctly for about a week now. Quite nice having 2x20MB Comcast connections for Internet and OpenVPN connetions. I think this should help when I add the 3rd connection to the EFW.
