Endian upstream proxy issue

Hi all,
I am setting up a staff proxy server with Endian Community Firewall, so that they can use the staffproxy.swgfl.org.uk route but without having to type in a username and password. I have created a generic username and password, for them to access the internet but they would still be authenticated locally on the endian box via AD.
I enter the details in the upstream proxy part of endian with the proxy name, port and username and password. But whenever I try it out I keep getting a 'ICAP PROTOCOL ERROR'.
Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks
Sean

Dear Sean,
C-ICAP is replacement of dansguardian, so you have to check the C-ICAP services are running use below commands:
/etc/init.d/c-icap status or /etc/init.d/c-icap start
