Hi there,
I'm trying to instal EFW 2.5.1 on an old Compaq Server (Proliant ML310) but the process stops after Ramdisk creation (this is what I see in the fast write lines who scrolling down) and a blue screen appears.
Using the Alt+F3 Keys looking for any error message I see the sh-3.00# prompt...
What should I do now? The installation does not go forward...
The System use a Raid interface (configured in Raid 0 Array), this may be an indication to understand the problem?
I'm waiting for a replay, if possibile.
Thanks!

Hi,
right, this is the configuration I have:

- Pentium 4 800 Mhz
- CD reader
- HDD: 50 GB p-ata in Raid 0 mode: Proliant has a Raid array embedded
- 1 Gb Ram

It's a too poor resource PC?

Hardware raids are difficult to use with Linux installations, from my experience.  I suggest installing on drive 0 for now, then when you have it loaded, build the raid 0 using mdadm.  This will create a software raid.
