How top block https port in Endian Firewall

Hi all,
I am working on how to block https port using my Endian Firewall but it seems it's not working. I tried to search in this forum and one latest suggestion is to point your DNS to OPENDns site.
Is there any better way to do it?
Thanks,
CESAR

You will need the 'Outgoing Firewall' to be enabled and then either remove the rule for port 443 or change it to deny instead of allow. This will block all port 443 traffic. If you are trying to block a specific site on port 443, you will need to create an outgoing rule with the ip address of the destination and set it to deny.

Hi speccompsol;
I tried your suggestion on how to block https port and it works. Thanks a lot.
Using https to access facebook.com is no longer available, however, I noticed that the block site listed in default profile content filter is not working. Using facebook.com is still accessible.

Is the Web/HTTP Proxy enabled? An access policy needs to be configured to use the appropriate content filter rule.
