Hi All,

I have a strange problem: when i use a computer connected to the endian firewall appliance and i do ping rveendorp.ath.cx it comes with the result ip: 75.125.225.163. Also when i login on the endian firewall and do the same ping i get 75.125.225.163. The computer is using the endian firewall as DNS server and in the endian firewall i have pointed to the correct DNS servers of my ISP. The problem is that this ip is the wrong ip address! it should be 93.125.229.35. When i do nslookup , then server <nameserver of ISP> and type rveendorp.ath.cx i get the correct IP back. So what could be the problem? Hope somebody can help.

Best regards,
Armando

I found the solution: ath.cx is specified in the /etc/dnsmasq/blackholedns.conf file. I added ath.cx to the whilelist via the endian webinterface (proxy-DNS-anti spyware). Hope this helps someone else someday Smiley
