Ntopng update only?

Hi all
Got a new challenge I'm trying to figure out. We need to be able to measure the bandwidth used by our customers, some of which are sharing a physical NIC, but using different ports.
This means that we need to be able to measure how much bandwidth was taken up over say a month over which source port to which destination port.
From what I've been able to figure out, it seems there's not really an easy way to accomplish this. Ntopng appears to have such a capability, but I'm not sure if the flavor that ships with Endian can be configured to do that. Is it possible to upgrade the ntopng component only, or even replace it entirely with a different build?
Many thanks
