Hi at all,
I'm new to endian and i have a question about startup services.

I have a small hardware and i want to optimize the time of boot.
In my case, for example, i don't use the web proxy (but it can be the ipsec), and i want to disable this service at startup.
To do this, is sufficient the
Code:
chkconfig squid off
or there's another procedure?

Thank's for your attention.

There is no chkconfig on Endian. Enable and disable services via web interface or eventually via /etc/rc.d.
If you disable Web Proxy on web server, it doesn't run. Just check Status->System Status to see what is running.

What about starting new services? How to configure on boot?

Thanks
