I don't know if this is an Endian issue or not; maybe you could help me figure it out?

At home I'm running Endian, an SBS2008 box, a  Win7 RTM boxes, a Vista Ult, and ab XP home.

I am no longer able to FTP to or from *any* website, from *any* of my boxes.

The current Win7 boxes were XP Pro before I upgraded, and I could FTP just fine.

Now, nothing.

Huh

Any clues?  I'm just stumped.

Thanks!

Any help with this would be great; it's driving me nuts...more info:

Running Endian Firewall Community release 2.2.rc3
None of the pc's (Win 7, Vista, and XP Home) can download ftp from any site, using either explorer or cuteFTP client.

I added this port forwarding rule, and still can't ftp (.254 is my sbs server):
TCP Uplink ANY : 21(FTP)  192.168.1.254 : 21(FTP) FTP

Help??

FAIL

Wow...I figured it out, and now I feel like a fool!!!  Shocked

I spent exactly 13 seconds in the doucmentation just now, and found this:

"Select Proxy from the menu bar at the top of the screen, then select FTP from the submenu on the left side of the screen."

I UNCHECKED the "eneable on green" checkbox.  Now I can ftp.

Dang.

Well, the saying must be true:  some of us were only put on this planet as a warning to the rest.  Smiley

So, I guess I warn the rest of you:  read the documentation first.  Grin
