SMTP proxy authentication
«

hi to all,
in us company we are using an endian firewall (the base embedded system).
we have got some problems with some clients affected with a trojan that sends a lot of spam from us.
duo all traffic on port 25 is redirected on endian firewall and we use as smarthost the provider's smtp server (it's an open relay)
we cannot block the problem..
so the question is "it's possible to able authentication for the smtp proxy?"
imho it's the only way to block this kind of problems.
thanks and best regards
alberto.
