Hello

The curent kernel in the distribution is  2.6.27.19-72.e22.i586  and in the RPMS 2.6.27.19-72.e25-PAE.i686 or an old 2.6... smp

WHY ENDIAN GUYS NEVER PUBLISH the current Kernel , why there are not SVN or CVS like other opensources project ?

YOU want that we contribue but you dont give us the tools (for endian compagny)!

Somebody knows where to find it ?

I also encountered same problem.  It looks like Endian guys seal the driver development.

Two things:

1- This is the "Contribute your customisation" section. So if nothing is contributed it is better to post on another place of the forum.
2- You can use the kernel sources for kernel-PAE, just change the kernel SMP to kernel PAE. Once changed you can compile drivers or anything. To change kernel:
efw-upgrade
smart install kernel-PAE
reboot

I agree that SRPMS and devel RPMS are half baked and incomplete, but fairly usable.

I tried to do the things above, but I always have this error:

error: 'kernel-PAE' matches no packages. Suggestions:
error:     kernel-2:2.6.27.19-72.e25@i586

is there other way to obtain the kernel source? i need it to compile the module of my ethernet driver.

Same problem here...

I need to compile the module for (lspci output):

Code:
04:00.0 Ethernet controller: Agere Systems ET-131x PCI-E Ethernet Controller (rev 02)

I tried to follow instructions (in portuguese) at http://endian.eth0.com.br/topic/placa-de-rede-com-chipset-agere-system#post-3129 without success because there are missing files in EFW-COMMUNITY-2.4.1-devel-srpm-rpms.tar.gz.

I would really apreciate if someone help me with this issue.
