Title: Content Filtering and Virus Detection Block All http access Post by: webhiker on Tuesday 02 February 2010, 09:31:15 pm Hi Guys/Gals,
Can anyone help or enlighten me about my problem in Proxy Not Transparent, i'm running 2.3 version. Both Filter profile Default Content1 and Virus detection is blocking all outgoing internet/http access. With or without user authentication (local NCSA), once you applied either of the two filter profile it will block all outgoing internet/http access. But, when the Filter profile is set to None, with or without user authentication, all outgoing internet access are allowed/pass thru. Is there anything i overlook in the configuration or is it a bug in 2.3 version? Hoping for favorable response. Many Thanks Title: Re: Content Filtering and Virus Detection Block All http access Post by: jimmyzshack on Wednesday 17 February 2010, 01:19:04 am Hi Guys/Gals, Can anyone help or enlighten me about my problem in Proxy Not Transparent, i'm running 2.3 version. If not mistake, if non transparent you need to set each user to use the endian. Therefore, each user need to set use proxy on their browser. Correct me if i'm wrong. |
